Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with mixed performance by 9:50am Kuwait time.
The price index rose by 0.40% or 24.67 points to reach 6,326.31 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.08% and 2.15% respectively.
Liquidity amounted to KWD 25.85 million, after 350 million shares were exchanged through 4,851 transactions.
The telecom segment led the decliners with 0.08%, dragged by Zain which lost 2.15%.
Meanwhile, the financial services sector topped four gainers with 4.13% on the back of Gulf Investment House which levelled up by 5.7%.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 8.24 million shares were traded. The stock gained 3.77%.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity that totaled KWD 1.03 million. The stock levelled up by 2.5%.
