Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait announced that trading on the stock of Ithmaar Holding has been suspended due to the company’s disclosure of incurring accumulated losses accounting for 99% of the capital.
Based on the market regulations, the stock exchange suspends trading on a stock if its company’s accumulated losses reached 75% or more of its capital, according to a bourse statement on Thursday.
Ithmaar, listed on Boursa Kuwait, the Bahrain Bourse (BHB), and the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), suffered a loss of $24 million in 2018, compared to $84.7 million in the prior year.
