Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait extended its gains on Wednesday for the second day in a raw after the All-Share and the Premier market indices had inched up by 0.27% and 0.28%, respectively, and the Main and the BK 50 indices had risen by 0.25% and 0.31%, respectively.
The turnover grew by 11.8% on a daily basis, standing at KWD 27.54 million from KWD 24.65 million. The trading volume amounted to 125.98 million shares, up by 6.1% when compared to 118.7 million.
The real estate segment headed seven gainers with 1.67%, whereas the basic materials and the telecom instruments were the sole decliners by 1.07% and 0.03%, respectively.
Osoul Investment topped the green zone with 15.38%, whereas Hayat Communications led the red zone with 5%.
Ahli United Bank – Bahrain (AUB Bahrain) led the trading activity on all levels through the exchange of 39.5 million shares at KWD 7.49 million, the stock settled lower 3.09%.
