Kuwait - Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait saw a negative performance during the week that ended on Thursday 13 April, as the market capital fell by KWD 260 million.
The price index lost 0.31% or 21.91 points, and closed at 7007.89 points.
The weight index also declined by 0.89%, while Kuwait15 shed 1.56%.
The Kuwaiti stock exchange’s market cap went down by 0.90% or KWD 260 million, to KWD 28.57 billion ($93.4 billion) compared to KWD 28.83 billion ($94.2 billion) in the previous week.
Traded volumes amounted to 1.792 billion shares, compared to 1.794 billion shares last week.
Meanwhile, traded values decreased by 9.64% to KWD 137.02 million down from KWD 151.64 million for the week than ended on 6 April.
The total number of transactions shrank 3.25% to 33,240 from 34,360 transactions in the week before.
