Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait indices commenced Monday’s trading session on a collective decline, as the price index shed 0.39% or 26.94 points to 6,816.07 points, while the weighted and Kuwait 15 indices lost 0.43% and 0.62%, respectively.
By 9:45 am Kuwait time, eight sectors were down, led by oil and gas with 2.28% after Napesco and Petrogulf dropped 4.11% and 1.09%, respectively.
The banking sector declined 0.80% after several stocks retreated, spearheaded by the Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK) with 3.85%.
Aayan Real Estate led losers, sliding 5.7%, whereas GFH Financial Group led gainers, surging 4.04%.
Turnover reached KWD 3.2 million as 39.1 million shares were traded through 747 transactions.
Ithmaar Holding, down 2%, was the most active on Boursa Kuwait, with a turnover of KWD 1.03 million and a traded volume of 20.74 million shares.
