Budget Saudi shareholders nod to dividends, capital raise

Riyadh-Mubasher: The shareholders of United International Transportation Company (Budget Saudi Arabia) approved on Thursday the proposed dividends for 2015, according to a bourse statement.

The company will pay 15% dividends or SAR 1.5 per share, amounting to a total of SAR 76.25 million.

The shareholders also gave the go-ahead to increase the company’s capital by 20% to SAR 610 million, with a total shares of 61 million.

The capital raise will be through the distribution of 10.17 million bonus shares on a 1-for-5 basis.

Budget increased its capital to support the expansion plans it began in 2012.
