Riyadh – Mubasher: Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance’s profits fell 7.93% year-on-year to SAR 104.22 million ($27.79 million) in the second quarter of 2016 from SAR 113.20 million ($30.18 million).
The decrease in the company’s Q2-16 net profits is mainly attributed to the business growth in H1-16 and H2-15, which led to a rise in net earned premiums, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
The company’s net profits rose 17.9% to SAR 179.86 million in H1-16 from SAR 149.97 million in the same period of 2015.
