Burgan Bank carries off J.P. Morgan Quality Recognition Award

Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait’s Burgan Bank announced on Sunday that it received the ‘Quality Recognition Award’ from J.P. Morgan Chase for the year 2015.

The bank said in a statement that the award comes as a result of maintaining the distinctive level of services and processes it provided during the current year in the field of USD funds transfer operations, which reflects the commitment of the staff responsible for such operations to high standards of quality.

J.P. Morgan lauded the bank with for achieving 99.0% straight-through processing (STP) in the MT103 category and 99.7% in the MT202 category.

Burgan Bank became one among few banks across the MENA region to receive this prestigious award.

Sherif Abdelsalam, Executive Director – Treasury Services – Head of GCC Financial Institutions Coverage at J.P. Morgan Chase, said: “Since 1997, we have presented the Quality Recognition Award to acknowledge the consistent, high quality performance of our clients’ fund transfer operations management and of their staff”.
