Doha – Mubasher: The business of Qatar Petroleum (QP) and its subsidiaries has not been affected by the diplomatic tension with the GCC countries, the company said in a statement.
All stages, from production to export, and all facilities on a global level are running as usual, QP added.
QP is ready to ensure its commitment to local, regional, and international clients by making necessary decisions, the company said.
Qatar is considered the world's largest producer and exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG) with a 30% stake in total global consumption.
The country has adopted the general budget of 2017, with a deficit of QAR 28.3 billion, expecting a total revenue growth by 9.03% and total expenditure decrease by 2.02%.
Last Monday, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and the UAE broke their diplomatic relations with Qatar.
