Mubasher: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced a monthly issue of short-term Islamic leasing bonds, Sukuk Al-Ijara.
The BHD 26 million worth issue has been subscribed by 117% with a value of BHD 30.45 million, according to a recent statement.
With maturity of 182 days, the expected return on the issue is 2.37 % compared to 2.30% for the previous monthly issue.
The Sukuk Al-Ijara are issue will begin on 9 February, 2017 and matures on 10 August, 2017.
