The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) said that this week's issuance of the government treasury bills has been fully subscribed by 101%.
The BHD 70 million bills which are carrying a maturity of 91 days to end on 27 April, said the CBB.
“The weighted average rate of interest is 1.94%, compared to 1.86% for the previous issue on 13 January 2016,” according to the central bank.
Meanwhile, the approximate average price for the issuance was 99.511% with the lowest accepted price being 99.480%.
With this, the total outstanding value of weekly government treasury bills is BHD 1.710 billion.
