Mubasher: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) said Tuesday that this week’s issue of government treasury bills, number 1,623, has been fully subscribed.
The bills issue worth BHD 70 million and carries a maturity of 91 days starting, starting from 2 November 2016 to 1 February 2017, according to a statement.
The weighted average rate of interest is 2.01%, compared to 2% for the previous issue on 26 October 2016.
The approximate average price for the issue was 99.493%, and the lowest accepted price was 99.482%.
Thus, the total outstanding value of government treasury bills is BHD 1.760 billion.
