Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decided to extend the working hours of banks as of 1 September.
Banks will be open for employees from 8:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. and for the public from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., according to a circular on Tuesday.
Earlier, the CBE shortened the working hours for banks as part of preventive measures against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
