CBE governor to meet with South Sinai investors Sunday

Cairo-Mubasher: Tarek Amer, governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), will meet with members of South Sinai Investors’ Association on Sunday.

The meeting, which will be held in Sharm El Sheikh, will be reflected positively on the tourism sector, said Atef Abdullatif, a member at the association.

He suggested some solutions for the banking sector's support to the tourism sector especially amid the tough conditions facing the local tourism after the crash of the Russian plane in October.

Investments worth EGP 150 billion in Sharm El Sheikh face challenges and thus they should be developed, Abdullatif said.
