Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued on Monday treasury bills worth EGP 850 million, on behalf of the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
The issue will be used to finance the country’s budget deficit, the bank said on its website.
The CBE noted that the first offering will be EGP 500 billion for three years, while the second offering will be EGP 350 million for seven years.
