Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Thursday issued treasury bills worth EGP 9.5 billion in coordination with the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to finance the budget deficit.
The value of the first offering which will last for 182 days amounts to EGP 4.5 billion, while the second 357-day auction is worth EGP 5 billion, the CBE said on its official website.
Average interest for the 182-day auction amounts to 13.785%, while the 357-day auction amounts to 14.083%.
