Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has launched an initiative to support national industries with EGP 100 billion credit facilities.
The CBE’s initiative is aimed at boosting production, according to a statement released on Thursday.
Loans will be used to purchase raw materials, machines, and equipment, the statement added.
Last month, the CBE decided to increase the value of the initiative aimed at renovating and restoring tourism facilities to EGP 50 billion from EGP 5 billion and renew the current tourism initiative for another year that will end on 31 December 2020.
