Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt is considering the establishment of a new company during the first quarter of 2019, the bank’s deputy governor said on Sunday.

The CBE has assigned the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) to prepare a feasibility study for setting up a new company for supporting Egyptian exports, Lobna Helal highlighted in her speech at the third conference for investments in the Middle East.

The Egyptian Cabinet previously announced that Egypt’s exports rose by 11.6% year-on-year in 2018.
