Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 90 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 19 April.
The first offering was valued at EGP 50 billion, with a tenor of 91 days until 21 July 2026, according to the CBE’s data.
Holding a 273-day maturity period until 19 January 2027, the second auction stood at EGP 40 billion.
On 16 April, the CBE offered T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 105 billion.
