Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said the country’s domestic liquidity increased by 18% y-o-y in September 2016.
The domestic liquidity recorded EGP 2.185 trillion by the end of September 2016, up from EGP 1.850 trillion a year earlier.
The country’s money supply recorded EGP 607 trillion, while quasi-money amounted to EGP 1.577 trillion by the end of September.
Meanwhile. The domestic credit recorded EGP 2.586 trillion by the end of September 2016.
