Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced selling $1.696 billion treasury bills at an average yield of 3.749% at Monday’s auction.
The maximum and minimum yields were at 3.750% and 3.720 respectively, said the bank of Egypt, adding the aggregate amount submitted for the dollar-denominated issue was $1.841 billion.
Egypt’s FX cash reserves declined to $19.041 billion by the end of October from $19.592 billion recorded by the end of September.
