Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), on behalf of the Ministry of Finance (MoF), will issue $120 million in its weekly periodical dollar auction on Tuesday.
CBE governor Tarek Amer noted last week that the bank pumped $15.694 billion (EGP 139.821 billion) in banks over five months between November 2015 and April 2016 through regular and exceptional dollar auctions, according to a statement by the presidency.
The CBE amended the dollar auctions to once per week instead of thrice.
