Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) would issue on Sunday EGP 11.25 billion in treasury bills in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, according to the bank’s website.
The issuance will be carried out on two tranches: 91-day and 273-day bills worth EGP 6 billion and EGP 5.25 billion, respectively.
Earlier, the ministry estimated the country’s budget deficit to reach EGP 319.46 billion in the fiscal year 2016/17.
