Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) would issue Monday EGP 2.25 billion in treasury bonds on behalf of the Ministry of Finance.
The bonds will be auctioned through three tranches: three-year bonds worth EGP 1.5 billion, seven-year bonds worth EGP 500 million and 18-month zero bonds worth EGP 250 million.
The government earlier announced issuing EGP 99.25 billion in treasury bills and bonds in September 2016 compared with EGP 99.75 billion for the year-ago period.
