Cairo-Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will issue EGP 12.25 billion in treasury bills on Sunday, on behalf of the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
The issue will be used to finance the country’s budget deficit, the bank said in a statement.
The CBE noted that the first offering will be EGP 6.25 billion for 91 days, while the second offering will be EGP 6 billion for 266 days.
