CBE to sell $120m at regular FX auction

Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt will hold a regular FX auction to sell $120 million to banks on Tuesday, according the bank’s online data.

In the last auction, the bank of Egypt sold $104.5 million out of $120 million at a cut-off price of EGP8.78 per dollar.

Earlier, the bank of Egypt decided to reduce foreign currency auctions to a single regular auction on Tuesdays, instead of three ones per week.
