CBI foreign currency sale declines

Mubasher: The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) said in a statement that the amount of foreign currency sold at auction reached $170.76 million on Tuesday, compared to $188.66 million on Monday, according to the bank's data.

Selling price stood at IQD 1,166 per dollar as a stable exchange rate, with the participation of 24 banks and 16 companies for stocks conversion.

The amount of remittances and credits amounted to $147 million, while the quantity sold in cash reached $23.76 million.
