Mubasher: The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) announced the update on liquidity position on Sunday.
The volume of required reserves settled at JOD 1.628 billion, according to the bank’s statement.
Meanwhile, excess liquidity including overnight window deposits held at CBJ increased to JOD 1.604 billion from JOD 1.524 billion on Thursday.
CBJ added that the outstanding balance of one week CD's amounted to JOD 1 billion and will be matured on 20 December.
No overnight repurchase agreements (repo) were held with CBJ on Thursday, the statement added.
