Mubasher: The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) announced the update on liquidity position on Tuesday.
The volume of required reserves settled at JOD 1.628 billion, according to the bank’s statement.
Meanwhile, excess liquidity including overnight window deposits held at CBJ increased to JOD 1.676 billion from JOD 1.673 billion on Monday.
CBJ added that the outstanding balance of one week CD's amounted to JOD 1 billion and will be matured on 27 December.
No overnight repurchase agreements (repo) were held with CBJ on Monday, the statement added.
