Mubasher: The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) announced on Monday that the volume of required reserves increased from JOD 1.646 billion to JOD 1.654 billion, according to an official statement.
The volume of excess liquidity, including the overnight window deposits, also grew from JOD 1.178 billion to JOD 1.221 billion.
The bank also announced the 45th issue of treasury bills for 2016, worth JOD 100 million ($140.4 million).
The outstanding balance of one week CD's reached JOD 1 billion and will mature on 11 October 2016.
