Kuwait - Mubasher: Total bank deposits in Kuwait have increased 3.5% to KWD 40.9 billion by the end of May, compared to a 4.6% rise in the same month last year, according to a recent report by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK).
The private sector deposits grew 0.07% or KWD 255 million compared to its levels in April, totalling KWD 34.8 billion.
Meanwhile, deposits by the public sector declined by 7% or KWD 331 million, reaching KWD 6.1 billion.
