Mubasher: The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) announced issuing governmental treasury bills worth OMR 78.5 million ($203.19 million), according to a statement.
This 28-day maturity period of the issue will start on 17 May and end on 14 June, the CBO added.
The average accepted price amounted to OMR 99,944 per OMR 100, while the lowest acceptable price reached OMR 99.94 per OMR 100, and the average discount rate stood at 0.73399% with an average yield of 0.7344%.
The interest rate of the CBO’s repurchase agreement (repo) on these treasury bills is 1.501% for the period from 17 to 22 May, while the discount rate on treasury bills facilities is 2.251% for the same period.
