Doha – Mubasher: Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQK) lost QAR 1.4 million ($384,100) during the third quarter of 2016 against QAR 301.1 million ($82.61 million) for the year-ago period, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
Over the first nine months, the bank earned QAR 499 million, down 62% year-on-year from QAR 1.30 billion.
Earnings per share reached QAR 1.04 during the period ended 30 September 2016, compared with QAR 3.71 for the year-ago period.
In the first half, net profit fell 57.9% to QAR 226.4 million from QAR 537.5 million.
