Cairo – Mubasher: CI Capital seeks to run from three to four Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) on the Egyptian Exchange through 2016, said CI Capital Vice Chairman Mahmoud Atalla.
This move will be subject to the recovery of the market conditions, noted Atalla.
The IPOs will come in respect to companies operating within the sectors of real estate, tourism and consumer products, added Chairman.
CI Capital currently runs talks with government regards new IPOs by public companies, said Atalla, while declining to state any more details.
Earlier, Egyptian government spokesperson said Egypt intends to offer stakes in public banks and companies for listing on Egypt’s bourse within the upcoming period.
