Cairo – Mubasher: CI Capital Holding on Wednesday reported an 87.9% year-on-year growth in consolidated profit for the first half of 2018 due to higher revenues.
Net profit amounted to EGP 182.95 million in the six-month period ended June, versus EGP 97.32 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Revenues climbed to EGP 1.07 billion at the end of June, compared to EGP 735 million in H1-17.
At the level of standalone business, profits declined to EGP 27.7 million in H1-18 from EGP 36.3 million in the same period last year.
It is worth noting that CI Capital had posted a 36% year-on-year surge in consolidated profits for Q1-18, recording a net profit of EGP 92.18 million, compared to EGP 67.6 million, including minority shareholders’ rights.
