Cairo – Mubasher: A bulk trade worth EGP 39.7 million was carried out on CI Capital Holding's stock, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) said on Tuesday.
The bulk transaction was implemented on nearly 5.4 million shares, or EGP 7.3 per share, according to a statement.
CI Capital previously reported an 87.9% year-on-year growth in consolidated profit for the first half of 2018 due to higher revenues.
The Egyptian investment bank's net profit amounted to EGP 182.95 million in the six-month period ended June, versus EGP 97.32 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
Revenues climbed to EGP 1.07 billion at the end of June, compared to EGP 735 million in H1-17.
