CI Capital to contribute in Egyptian Commodity Exchange’s capital

Cairo – Mubasher: CI Capital Holding for Financial Investments decided to contribute in the capital of the Egyptian Commodity Exchange.

The chairman has been authorised to determine the contribution percentage based on the results of discussions between the company’s shareholders, according to the company’s disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

In the same time, the company’s board of directors approved the group’s 2020 estimated budget.

Noteworthy to highlight, during the first nine months of 2019, CI Capital reported a net profit of EGP 381.07 million, up from EGP 300.95 million in the prior-year period, while its standalone financials saw a net profit of EGP 94.39 million, up from EGP 35.25 million in 2018.

In October, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) completed its feasibility study on the Egyptian Commodity Exchange to start establishing this commodity exchange in coordination with all relevant parties.
