Mubasher: Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI) has affirmed the financial strength rating (FSR) of Ahli United Bank (AUB) at “A”, according to a recent official statement.
CI Ratings added that the lender’s long- and short-term foreign currency ratings were “A-” and “A2”, respectively.
AUB, which is listed on both Boursa Kuwait and Bahrain Bourse (BHB), was placed a “Stable” outlook, the statement added.
The ratings were backed by AUB’s assets which are mostly funded from outside Bahrain.
