Cairo – Mubasher: The heavyweight Commercial International Bank (CIB) dominated 93.7% of the banking sector’s liquidity on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
By 11:50 am Cairo time, the CIB’s stock fell 2.23% to EGP 73.43 as 653,350 shares were traded at a turnover of EGP 48 million.
Meanwhile, the banking sector index slid 0.99% as 871,180 shares were traded at a turnover of EGP 51.2 million.
Meanwhile, the benchmark EGX30 index slipped 0.45%, or 65.45 points, to 14,395.51 points.
Total liquidity stood at EGP 481.92 million exchanged through 9,900 transactions as 80.03 million shares were traded.
