Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Wednesday’s close by 0.76% or 100.47 points to the level of 13,339.63 points.
On the other hand, the EGX70, EGX100 and EGX50 indices declined 0.68%, 0.42% and 0.88% respectively.
The market capitalisation increased by EGP 881.3 million to EGP 675.9 billion.
Trading volume reached 356.9 million shares exchanged at EGP 2.87 billion through 41,340 transactions.
Foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 264 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 153 million and EGP 111 million respectively.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt rose 3.89%, Heliopolis Company for Housing advanced 3.53% and TMG Holding grew 2.70%.
Meanwhile, Cairo Oils fell 3.65% and Amer Group dropped 2.94%.
