Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) announced on Wednesday that the deadline for fingerprint registration for mobile phone consumers will expire on 20 July.
The commission stated that after 20 July the connections of all types of subscribers, including post-paid and pre-paid ones, who failed to register, will be disconnected, with no more extensions to the grace period.
In April, the CITC extended the updating and documentation period for 45 days for pre-paid and data cards, and 90 days for the post-paid ones.
