Riyadh - Mubasher: The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) and Zain Saudi Arabia signed an agreement to carry out the first project of high-speed mobile broadband, Zain said in a statement on Wednesday.
The project includes the provision of services to remote areas across the Kingdom, the chief technology officer of Zain Saudi Arabia said.
It aims at ensuring high-speed mobile broadband services to rural areas in Saudi Arabia by supporting infrastructure investments and increasing coverage to 70% to serve more than 140,000 users.
