CMA fines Bupa SAR 100,000 for law violation

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA) imposed a SAR 100,000 fine on Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance for violating law’s articles.

The insurance company violated paragraph (c) of Article (45) of the Capital Market Law, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

CMA added that the fine is also for leaking a piece of news on social media on 26 July, 2016, containing data which were prohibited to be disclosed before providing the CMA with the same or announcing them.
