Dubai – Mubasher: CNBC has announced plans to open a new studio set at Nasdaq Dubai in October.
The business and financial news network is projecting to utilise the base of the regional bourse’s MarketSite at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to host a range of thought leadership and capital markets activities, according to an official statement.
“Hosting CNBC at our MarketSite studio is an important step forward in Nasdaq Dubai’s mission to promote understanding and thought leadership in capital markets and business, among market participants as well as the general public,” CEO of Nasdaq Dubai Hamed Ali commented.
MarketSite will comprise an event space for market-opening bell ringings and seminars by issuers and other companies.
“This new studio will quickly become an integral part of our daily business news programming around the word,” president and managing director of CNBC International KC Sullivan said.
DIFC houses over 2,000 active registered companies, with a total workforce of more than 22,000 professionals.
