Cairo – Mubasher: Cairo Airport Company’s, the owner and operator of Cairo International Airport (CAI), net profits soared 50% year-on-year to EGP 1.5 billion for fiscal year 2018/2019, the company’s chairman Ahmed Fawzy said.
The statement came on the sidelines of Egyptian civil aviation minister Younes Al Masry’s visit to CAI.
During the tour, Al Masry was briefed on the latest developments in the airport, including devices, ground equipment, raising the efficiency of corridors and airstrips, developing the main power plant, and upgrading supervision and control system, according to a press release.
The minister also inaugurated projects in CIA at a value of EGP 1 billion, in addition to relaunching the airport’s website after updating its various services.
