Cairo Poultry’s losses shrink 36% in Q1

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt for Poultry reported lower losses in the second quarter of 2016, according to a bourse filing.

Q1 consolidated losses fell 35.9% year-over-year to EGP 717,700 from EGP 1.1 million, taking minority rights into account.

On the level of standalone profits in Q1, the company turned a loss after logging EGP 1.05 million losses against EGP 421,000 profits for the year-ago quarter.

The company’s fiscal year starts on the first of April.
