Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange gave a mixed performance on Sunday by 10:30am Cairo time.
The main index EGX30 fell, 89 points, 1.06% to reach 8,288 points amid a selling wave by Arab investors.
Likewise, the broader index EGX100 edged down 0.02% to 806.4 points and the equal-weighted index EGX50 also went down 0.4% to 1,415 points.
Solely on the positive note, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 was 0.36% higher to 364.7 points.
Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 2.2 million, while Egyptians and foreigners were net buyers by EGP 1.3 million and EGP 875,000, respectively.
Trading value stood at EGP 48 million after 23.5 million shares were traded.
Out of 87 traded stocks, 18 were up, 36 down, and 33 flat.
Palm Hills was the most active stock in terms of trading values registering EGP 8 million for 171.5 million shares traded in 176 transactions.
In terms of trading volume, OTMT was the most active stock after 12 million shares were traded in 141 deals at EGP 7.3 million
