Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s main index EGX30 edged up 0.70% to 6,899.61 points by 10:12am Cairo time on Monday.
The largest EGX30 constituent CIB fell 2.11% to EGP 40.65 by 10:14am Cairo time.
Trading value reached EGP 67 million after 16 million shares were traded.
Arab and foreign investors were net sellers by EGP 475,000 and EGP 1.46 million respectively, while Egyptians were net buyers by EGP 1.93 million.
Yesterday, EGX30 has registered the steepest decline since mid-January 2015 after shedding 5.54%, or 401.70 points, to the mark of 6,851.61 points.
