Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s main index skidded 5%, or 380 points, to the mark of 6872.8 points by 10:09am Cairo time.
Analysts expected Cairo bourse to be dragged lower after Britons have voted to leave the European Union (Brexit), said analysts.
Ibrahim Al-Nimr, head of technical analysis at Naeem Holding, said the bourse is forecast to see a broad selling wave closer to “tsunami”. Further, traders will share tumultuous sentiments following the unexpected Brexit that has come as a massive shock to the global economy and decision-makers.
