Cairo – Mubasher: The value of Canadian investments in Egypt reached $1.75 billion in 559 companies in many fields, on top of which the industrial, mining, and tourism sectors, according to data from the Egyptian Commercial Service.
Egyptian exports to Canada grew by 10.6% to $718 million from January to November 2019, compared to $647 million in the year-ago period.
Key Egyptian exports to Canada included gold, salt, ready-made clothes, fertilisers, vegetables, and fruits.
Moreover, Egypt’s imports from the North American country recorded $528 million in the January-November period.
